To Sir Yes Sir With Love

*** My poor sister. She has taken to reading the Condensed Readers Digest Version of Readers
Digest.

*** Hmmm, old Tin Pin Alley songwriter Irving Steincohenowitz, passed away at 99.
You probably have heard his most popular song, "How Ya Gonna Keep 'em Down on the Farm After the Sheep Are Gone?"

*** Read of a man being treated with what they're calling AECU, Acute Excessive Computer Use----it got so bad his wife left with their 3 children. He found out about it three weeks later.

*** I was saddened to read that Mr. Peanut is in a nursing home suffering from a degenerative bone disease. I was appalled to learn that some malicious caretakers are calling him Peanut Brittle.

*** Prime Minister Karzai of Afghanistan feels confident, despite election disputes, that he can Kabul together a government.

*** I knew it was a matter of time---Herb, from that old failed Burger King ad campaign showed up on my Facebook page.

*** I read a burglar who cleaned out his victims’ house, received no sympathy from the judge when he pled ”I was just following the old religious adage, your honor, 'God helps those who
help themselves!'”

*** I hate those damn computer warnings that pop up all the time that forces you to make a critical decision, which is hard because you don’t know what the hell they’re talkin’ about : ‘WARNING: YOUR SCRIPT IS RUNNINNG SLOW AND YOUR VIRTUAL TRUCK IS OVERLOADED WITH COOKIES!! For God’s sake, man! < Do something about it!!/ Ignore / Tell me again in 3 months.

*** According to the newspaper, in 1975, 70% of the public believed Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill John F. Kennedy.
In another poll taken last month, 75% said “who??”
