*** I never knew that Henry Winkler once played “Baby John” in a production of West Side Story---yeah, the Sharks jumped him!!

*** Now, as I’ve oft emphasized, I consider myself a man of peace---an egalitarian who deeply adheres to the concepts of justice and democracy. However, to the creators of that TV ad where the little girls convince their poor old graying, single dad to color his hair so he’ll get the girl or get the job---I would like to see them waterboarded with Mr. Pibb.

*** I just signed a sweetheart deal to have my first book published---the company guarantees it’ll be in the Remaindered Bin of some of the country’s major book outlets!!

*** I’ve noticed, what I believe is an economic indicator that the economists are missing---the number of infomercials hawking ‘Learning Foreign Languages’. I’m on the lookout for the inevitable “How to Apply for a Passport” shows.

*** I don’t know the radical Right is becoming of concern. I was having a burger at McDonald’s yesterday and bunch of teenagers stood up, one by one, singing “Tomorrow Belongs to Me”.

*** I found out the hard way---never tell a cat “I’m gonna pin your ears back!!”

*** I blame my Jewish mother for a lifetime of needing to lose weight. When I was a kid, after I finished dessert she’d compliment me and say, “ Did you have enough? Okay, now it’s time for supper!” *** Well, poor aspring actress cousin Ariel caught a break---she was signed to clean the litter boxes for a touring company of Cats.
