Say What??

*** I’m working on a novel about Jacksonville, Dim Bulbs, Big City.

*** I picked up one of those updated, modernized Bibles. I randomly turned to “Jeremiah”---goddam if he wasn’t a Bullfrog!!

*** When that congressman yelled “You lie!” during Obama’s speech, everyone in the Senate Hall reportedly thought it was directed at them. And no one bought Rep. Wilson’s alibi that he was merely calling his Vietnamese exchange student, Yu Lai!
Obama was startled and instinctively looked over at Hillary Clinton.
Nancy Pelosi was forced to frown at this rude interjection and the bottom half of her face fell off.
Everyone agreed it was a good speech---eloquent, forceful and inspiring.
Now, what the hell is the Health Plan??
Obama said he was “gonna take the gloves off” in his speech. Those would be the white ones he wore to serve champaigne to the Insurance tycoons.
And Obama said his administration has “pulled this economy back from the brink.” Yeah, the brink of punishing the Wall Street crooks and having to set up a more equitable system.
