A Modest Proposal for the Immigration Morass

The settlement of the problem is not that hard: 1) Give the Mexicans back the land we stole from them 160 years ago--you know, Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona...Since that most probably won't happen-- change our economic and trade policies with that nation, so that they're not dominated by US multi-nationals that keep the very few rich and the rest, who if they're working at all, are making a thin sliver of the Yankee Dollar-- that kind of situation makes people want to leave. Better than keeping them in Mexico where they're free to starve or die of illness--let them come here and at least make somewhat more money cleaning toilets, working in hotels, or as housekeepers for the wealthy. I mean, these people have been twice-screwed by El Gigante d'el Norte. Viva Zapata!!
