A Shave and a Haircut---$12.95 Cents

*** Story in the paper of a dentist committing suicide. He left a note concluding with this despairing phrase: “Fillings…nothing more than fillings…”

*** I was just cited by the Stand-Up Comic National Association,(SUCNA) for the unique accomplishment of opening for an act and closing your career simultaneously! I believe tears are welling up…

*** Guess it’s genetic---my father was a struggling comic---he once closed for the Beatles.

*** I ordered Sham-Wow! to keep my Snuggies clean.

*** Is it just me, or have other football followers noticed a striking increase amongst announcers in the number of times they refer to any particular black player as “”smart” and “Intelligent”? They’re still fighting the Jimmy the Greek Syndrome.
What's really being said is “Folks, orders came from the Corporate Office/ PC Division that we are to remove that common stereotype from your minds that goes something like this :"he's just one of those muscle-bound nubians who got through college by majoring in “Business Paper Clip Utilization” and 'White Girls', while the NFL patiently waited for Draft Day."

*** I’ve noticed that people often have trouble spelling Gandhi’s name, not sure where to place the “H”. Ironically, I read that when he was a kid his father would often frustratedly ask “Where the H is Gandhi??”

*** I heard of a upcoming book on a study of homosexuality in the Navy---it’s called Of Mates and Maties.
