Hey, it's great to be omnipresent!!
Running late, I had to take the Third Red Eye to be here.
Today Krishna Morty would like to discuss Time:
What is it?
Where is it?
Exactly where is the nick of time? (I have a friend Nick who's doin' time---but that's another story).
Can we save time in a bottle?( my drunken Uncle Sowutsituyu, sure wastes time in one)
Can we spare the time? (most of us can't even spare a dime).
Can we make time? (His holiness received a stinging slap after asking that of a novitiate).
True wisdom teaches us that time is an illusion of the world of maya---the Mayan Calendar notwithstanding.
Incidentally , the Mayan calendar says that the world will end on Dec. 12, 2012, which economic analysts predict will result in sluggish Christmas sales that season.
All there is ever-present now that likes to change scenery and characters,---not to mention our bodies--- from the Sweet Bird of Youth to the Old Crows of the Metamucil years.
Shakespeare was right when he said that "All the world is a stage", only that too many of us can't mount an act that wouldn't be turned down by Off-Off Broadway.
For as the Wise Man said, "All things change , except avant-garde theater!"
All who approach my age begin to feel the sensation that time is ever rapidly passing by. I often ask myself, "Why couldn't it have been like this when I had to go to high school or synangogue??"
I asked why this was of an aged Holy Man a month ago, but received no answer.
I asked him again today and he said "Didn't you just ask me that three days ago??"
*** It is important to understand that all world religions are saying the same thing, except they each use different cultural-oriented terminology and symbology to express
their faith.
For example, take the Eastern and Western religious philosophies.
We in the East see the world and its people as one energy and all the events that occur as karma playing on the intricate threads on the web we call the universe.
The Western philosophy re-states the same ideas with the eloquent Rumi-like poetic phrase "Shit Happens!"
Hey, you've all been great outer manifestations of my inner self.
Have a Good Oneness!
