Ghost Writers in the Sky

*** When she was younger my cousin the actress starred in the play "The Diary of Anne Frank". She was so bad that when the German soldiers came on stage the audience pointed upwards and yelled, "She's up there!"

*** I once impressed a girl with my impersonation of Elvis singing "Hunk of Burnin' Love". Then she gave me a case.

*** I've been reading up on the Titanic and found the little reported story of a comic, Jackie Ross, who went down with the ship. Witnesses report that his final set consisted of such lines as, "This is the worst one liner I've ever seen!!", "Did I hear someone call for more ice??", "I wasn't born here but I'm sure drowning here!" and , "Hey, you musicians, do you know ""How Deep is the Ocean"??

*** To give you an idea of how de-valued the dollar is these days, Bernard Madoff, who stole $50 billion, is being charged with Petty Theft!

*** I fear that many of the younger audience for the new film, "Valkyrie," about the plot to kill Hitler, don't really know if the plan succeeded or not?

Little known fact about "Saved by the Bell". In their last show, they weren't.
