*** So far I think the Democratic Convention has been rather conventional, in a conventional manner of speaking. By the way, didn't anyone think of adding more of a red, white and blue color motif?
*** But, how 'bout Hillary's paeans to Barack Obama? I haven't seen such sincerity since Judas gave the Messiah a peck on the cheek!
*** I hear there's a serious rift in the Rhode Island delegation. The one guy couldn't decided if he was for Obama or Clinton.
*** All in all, I think Michelle Obama's speech was very forceful, tasteful and compelling---except , I personally would have edited out the memory of the night they "free-based coke before gettin' jiggy with it!"
*** Tonight Bill Clinton speaks as he must show ardent support for Obama, while all the while hating his guts for preventing him from being President-In-Law. Hmmm, tryin' to take two positions at once?---like one of those nocturnal phone calls wrangling with a senator while Ms. Lewinsky sharpened his pencil.
*** How appropriate the Democrats are meeting a mile high---that must explain some of their past campaign strategies!
*** I saw a nerd hitch-hiking--he was holding up his thumb drive.
*** John McCain came out swinging against Obama but badly injured his shoulder.
