Keith Olberman, news commentator on MSNBC, has seemingly done the impossible.
He has had the basic guts to stand up to power--to take on the lies and the deceptions of the Bush Administration--and is STILL on the air!
Like a latter day Edward R. Murrow, he fearlessly delivers passionate commentaries on the myriad frauds, felonies and follies of this misadministration.
And amazing more still, he does this on MSNBC, whose parent company is General Electric--a major weapons contractor, besides all the other "good things they bring to life"!
It's a rather safe bet that Olbermann would have been fired two and one-half years ago, right after the once again purloind election of 2004.
If Kerry would roll over like a $10 hooker in the hours after the questionable "defeat" was confirmed, Olbermann went on for weeks investigatingand editorializing on the manifold voter irregularities and anomalies reported in Ohio and other locations.
But then something unexpected transpired--rather than being canned, his ratings began soaring through the roof.
It seems that after the 2004 outrage, the American people began awakening to the first-rate con job these assassins of democracy have been doing.
Olbermann, in tandem with other media heroes like Bill Maher, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert took the Bushevik's lies and hilariously laid them bare for all the viewing world to see.
Not only did this emperor have no brain, he was obviously devoid of apparel as well.
If we survive the dark shadow and scourge of the Bush-Cheney cabal, and there will be future history to be inscribed, Olbermann will be mentioned in the same tones of respect as a Thomas Paine, Frederick Douglass, Upton Sinclair, Ida Turnbull and I.F. Stone.
